I understand that The Buried Treasures Home, Inc. is a Christian Growth
Center and I agree to be subject to Biblical teaching and Christian
forms of behavior.
I agree to assume personal responsibility for my own attitude and
behavior at all times. I understand that what any staff member calls
incorrect behavior and a bad attitude will be confronted and may be
disciplined when necessary.
I understand that my main purpose for being in this program is to switch
masters and allow Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to teach me how to
live a new way of life, not just to get off drugs.
I understand that I will have no outside job while at BTH. My job is to
become the person Christ wants you to be.
Personal
I will not possess or use any alcohol or drugs at any time, including
psychiatric drugs.
I have not been diagnosed with any mental illness nor am I required to
take any mood-altering drugs.
I will not smoke or have cigarettes in my possession.
I will not curse or use off-color expressions or body gestures.
I will submit to screening tests as required.
I will disclose all pending charges, court dates, probation dates I face
within the legal system.
I will disclose all medical and dental problems I have to BTH.
Group Activity
I agree to participate al ALL scheduled activities, including classes,
chapel, church, work and recreation. I will do what I am asked to do in
each of these activities.
I agree to conduct myself in a Christ-like manner and will do nothing
that will reflect badly upon the BTH Family.
I understand the length of the BTH program is a minimum of 12 months. I
agree to commit to complete the entire program.
Discipline
I understand that I am expected to be prepared, in place, and on time
for all my scheduled activities. I also understand that any tardiness,
not being prepared and other forms of carelessness will result in
disciplinary action.
I understand that my room must be kept in a neat and orderly manner at
all times. I agree to work together with my roommates and Big Sister to
keep our room clean and in shape for inspection at all times.
I agree that my room and my purse may be searched at anytime.
I understand that a modest dress and grooming code will be determined
and enforced by the staff.
I understand that disciplinary action may include: extra duty, loss of
privileges, suspension or dismissal.
I agree that I am subject to a DRUG test at any time for any reason.
BURIED TREASURES HOME is a place of peace and love. You will succeed if
you empty your mind of all worldly thoughts and allow your heart and
mind to be filled with Jesus Christ. Remember that God is love and He
wants you to love Him and have a close relationship with Him so He can
bless you beyond your dreams.
