I thank God for giving my life healing and meaning after 27 years of addiction. I came to faith in Christ while I was in prison, September 27 th 2012. I came to Buried Treasures Home as a resident in 2013. After completing the program I was asked to stay on as a Team Leader. I was mentored by Pastor Clark and Mrs. Valerie and two years later I was hired as Supervising Mentor and Assistant.

Working at Buried Treasures Home has helped me understand my calling from the Lord. I find fulfillment helping women overcome addictions and past hurts. I truly love working here being a servant of the Lord and watching as the Lord transforms the women’s lives.

Meet Rosemary

We are Phillip and Karen Brown and have been married 50 years.  We have spent the better part of those years serving the LORD.  We are former IMB missionaries to the Sereer People Group in Senegal, West Africa.  We left the international mission field in 2003.  We planted and worked with the Cowboy Church Ministry across Arkansas up until 2020.  We recently accepted the mission as Executive Directors of the Buried Treasures Home in Byram, MS.

BTH is a vital ministry born out of First Baptist Church Jackson and is now is supported by churches and individuals in the Metro area and the throughout the great State of Mississippi.  BTH ministers to women who are being released from incarceration and or have addictions.  We covet your prayers as we labor on the field with all of you!
